12PM-12:30PM @ the JACCC Plaza -The California Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo continues their demonstration. 1PM-2PM @ the JACCC Plaza -Sumo wrestlers of varying weight classes compete at the United States Sumo Federations 2007 National Championships. 2:30PM-5PM @ the JACCC Plaza -Shorinji Kempo of Los Angeles Branch 5PM-6PM @ the JACCC Plaza -Cosplay Contest 6PM-8:30PM @ streets of Little Tokyo -This years Nisei Week Grand Parade will introduce one of the spectacular illuminated floats from Aomoris Nebuta Festival to Little Tokyo. Regarded as one of the most famous festivals in Japan, illuminated floats are known to light up the night sky as Haneto dancers dance wildly to the accompanying rhythm of drums and flutes. |
